this pub is just amazing built in 1897
as a hotel.the bar still has the original tiled floor and counter.It has a great mix of customers from students,forigners and the locals who are always ready for chat or debate.The pub has a great famous rugby owner sean lynch who still works there in the mornings i hear and is always up for the crack.the locals say its the best pint in dublin and i agree.the barstaff are worldclass including dave the barman who informed me in my time there.So pay a visit to the swan
