the door staff are very rude they never let me in everytime i try to get in sorry not 2nite and im from the area which is not fair on me or my friends i like the way they trow there judgments on people the dont even no so to me its a kip if there not goin to let any man in

I’ve been there in 2007.Lovely place, it was like to be at home with his fireplaces!!I heard that the pub was to going destroied to build homes! I hope they was kidding me!!

Definately a home away from home. I lived in the place last year. I agree definately the bar men are all fine. Athmosphere is impossible to beat anywhere else in Dublin. Doormen very nice in my experience but definately take prederence to girls over men walking into the place. Love this place above any other. Drink prices exceptional on Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights. Love the disco bar feel and the big picture made up of mini photos of customers through the years. Recognised a few. Many fond memories in the place. Like the new smoking area too..

This is one of the best nights I have had out in the whole of Dublin, its like a home away from home! The door staff are as lovely as my aul grandfather, I’d love to take the aul lad home (Dave). As for the bar staff, never in all my days have I come across such good looking boys!!! DJ is very approachable & caters for all tastes! All in all, a great night was had!

Fantastic for the owl Hoot n Hanny. Great pints of Bud and really friendly door staff.
Not a great place to go if your an oul Badger like Patsy the pub critic.

One the least hospitable pubs in Dublin with a terrible door policy. If you do manage to get past the door, you’ll be greeted by very poor bar service. While they do serve food, it’s overpriced and of poor quality. Give this place a miss and spend a few extra quid on a taxi into town.
