   I believe this was the tavern I visited almost 30 years ago while attending a mid-semester session at St. Patrick’s College that was just down the street. If I remember correctly a son named Michael who was a footballer ran the place and he had a beautiful sister that worked there. I would go in there 3 times a day to talk with a regular named Brendan (the greatest most hospitable gentleman I met in all of Ireland) that befriended me. They were the nicest people and that was the greatest experience I had during my entire stay in Ireland. They taught me more about the culture and I enjoyed a friendship that I still speak of fondly today. Michael will remember me as the “header” that pulled that stunt with those young ladies at the B&B our last night in Dublin. Great food and drink served by a fine family with the best group of regulars in all of Ireland.
