Dandelion St Stephens Green has seven bars in total spanning over three floors and we have recently opened our newest addition “The Front Bar” which overlooks St Stephen’s green in a giant picture frame window.
The new bar was conceived and created by top Irish Designer Paul Carton and has been a huge success since its opening in late July 2009.
The bar boasts a 13 meter bar top with giant cascading arches in the background fitted with smoked mirror and three giant Italian light features which have been described as not looking out of place in Tim Burton’s new “Alice in wonderland movie” by the Independent.
The bar is also the first bar in Ireland to serve drinks in glasses made completely from polished ice.
Customers can truly drink the coldest drink in the country while viewing the guilded plasma screens that reflect across the brass ceiling to give uniquely relaxing ambient lighting

Would not recommend this place at all. Overpriced and policed by very ignorant bouncers. Not very well managed at all.
Was in dandelion over weekend what a place!!Bar restaurant and a club serious party atmosphere.Keep up the good work.
totally overpriced. 6.10 for a corona?? luckily we all got in, but they seem to randomly pick people to refuse and allow entry (as the review from “almu” also states). the place is huge, clean and the bar wasn’t too busy. would consider going back, but only as a third or fourth choice…
Went back to this place to find its under new ownership and had a serious meal. Probably the best ive had in Dublin. Service was snappy, staff where smiling, food was quick and tasty id recommend their meatloaf.. Excellent.
We have been invited to a birthday party in Dandelion which was prebooked and an area was especially reserved for the occassion. However on the night 1/3 of the guests were not allowed in for reasons only known to the very ignorant bouncers! I have often visited dandelion previous to the new management and always had a pleasant time. The new staff and management has since change my opinion and rating. Very disappointed and not recommending the venue to anyone.
We celebrated in Dandelion a birthday party there, but careful! because you risk that half of your friends are not allowed to get in without any reason. We were not drunk, wearing improper clothes or behaving weird. Just they wouldn’t let us in. “Not tonight” they said…They were choosing people “randomly” not to let them in. Very disappointed
menu over prised and extremely limited. food took 40 mins to arrive and was undercooked. left 4 of our party feeling unwell and unable to continue the night out. very poor.
Overpriced and defiently a “90210″ clientele. Go elsewhere is my advice.
Place has everything you need on a night out, we are talking bar, nightclub, and food.
Only problem is, its a bit pricey and the crowd is variable.
